I agree with you on that. He should have commented on why he changed his view. Good point.

I agree with you on that also, but based on the comments here after a 12% pullback on a stock that up 100% in 5 mos, I would guess that many would disagree. The interesting thing is that the most vocal complaints are from the Long-Term investors -- I would have expected the traders and options writters to be the most vocal -- A LT investor should have taken the small pullback in stride.

I am a long holder of Dell don't you think that he got his information from Dell as to the finish to the quarter. These analysts get paid to give their opinions and if they are wrong like Kurlak has been wrong about Intel they are gone.
Check the Rambus thread a month ago Edelstone from MSDW changed his rating on RMBS and we all wanted to hang him because the stock went from $109 to $81. Unfortunately he was right in changing his rating on RMBS. Then when RMBS went down to the 80's he changed rating back to Outperform. I have a funny feeling in the pit of my stomach that Niles is probably on the money with his call. I wish Dell kept going maybe this is an opportunity to buy more. I added to RMBS when it was knocked down.
