Mo,

Dell trades on the Frankfort exchange too!! We can watch how it fares on Monday although the NAZ will be closed for President's day. I've seen sites posted here for quotes on Frankfort, through YAHOO.

On Monday, we may see some curious people buying in, because it got beaten back so far and so that they will be members of the club when DELL sets the record straight on Tues. after market.

It certainly seems unfair for Niles to attack the company during its quite period. It is like accusing a mute of being a lier. If DELL has good numbers, say earnings of .33, I think that it will go right back up to over 100, with in a week.

Yes that was indeed quite funny and typical.

I think the problem that most brokerage houses are dealing with is the fact that only a hand full of stocks is getting most of the attention and many are being ignored. I bet many companies are calling up complaining about the focus on the big technology names such as Dell, Microsoft, Intel and Cisco. They probably want something done to make the crowds lean more toward other investment possibilities. I personally favor the most potential investments for the long term.

There is some value to the argument that since competitors are replicating the Dell model that revenues and growth in Dell will be challenged resulting in lower figures and the PE should be lowered causing some sell off with Dell. The problem here is that any good earnings by CPQ, GTW,HWP or IBM is interpreted as bad for Dell which is just crap.
