what? 6% ginnies, or to hedge funds? or the hedge funds will borrow money from their dell profits and lose it on bond arbitrage? Hmmm..
BTW, i'm seeing crazy things in CEFs..my reit cef is at a 20% premium to nav, and reits and microcap value look like they double-bottomed.
I track otcm for sentiment in smallcap and pnp (an excellent small reit) for sentiment in reit market. pnp took a hit down to book value, 9% dividend, in perfect markets, growing like crazy. otcm is close to 20% discount and the stuff in it is close to cash value. last time otcm was selling here (oct bottom) Royce said he hadn't seen smallcap prices this low since he started business in 1974, FWIW.
