Things seem to be happening: "Earlier this month Lithium Technology surprised the industry by announcing that a lithium-polymer battery now in beta testing can run a laptop for up to 10 hours. The battery can also be formed into virtually any shape, giving designers new ways to incorporate battery packs into portables. The company also said the batteries will weigh only half that of the standard lithium-ion variety while being only slightly more expensive." Source: techweb.com
