People in the field can identify kimberlite and the type of kimberlite visually. Given the uniformity of the material throughout the area it is reasonable to conclude that it has a single source and that it was all put in place by the same event. It is not neccessary to put the whole deposit through CF when all you need is a sample.
The time to talk about the colored stones is after the Bulk sample results when there will be enough micros, macros, fancies, etc. to make reasonable extrapolations. Just my opinion.
