Tippet I was referring to units. Components prices are falling in sync with PC prices so the box assembler spread stays more or less the same. Unit growth compensated for $$ spread for the box makers.

As specific to DELL last time there was a collapse in memory prices DELL margins improved under their "build to order" business model.

Now after prices are stabilizing or inching up DELL will show less $$ and "net spread" per unit sold.
