Idealized view of day traders: I tend to view the day trader as a person who fully understands the market in which he/she plays, has the means and the where-with-all to function properly in this setting. All others are "wanna-bees", and will be gone before the last dollar they throw at BAMM hits the floor. While there are admittedly those in the "learning stage" that fall between these two categories, one or the other side of the fence is inevitable.
