LT,

Why, may I ask, do you think that the dollar is going to weaken seriously?

Not expecting an answer really, as I am pretty confident that you are as usual going to plead sickness at providing supporting rationale.

LT- You got incredibly lucky on Friday with the timing of Niles report...

Otherwise, Dell would have sold off 2/3 dollars in an overall flat/down market...

Now, you need be concerned about the (much) lowered expectations heading into this earnings report..an upside surprise (or blowout) could pop the stock up again, and also make it harder for the mud-slingers (going into next earnings report) to do major damage to the stock (pre-earnings)...Your risk/reward of holding your puts here is quite high...

I do give you some credit for recognizing Dell short-term weakness after the stock had risen from 42-110 in 4 month...you were right in thinking that the expectations had run up too high...and (good for you) you made a couple bucks off of it...However, even the more sanguine bulls on the thread here saw what you did...no big surprise...(the run from 110- high 90's)

It would be foolish, however, for you to believe your own hype and think the stock in on (your long-awaited road) toward 30...Make a little money (for a change), cash 'em in on Tuesday...you'll be glad you did...The momo guys, who vacated Friday, have left the building...
and us long-termers ain't going nowhere...You've been around long enough to know that..

BTW- I look forward to answering some of posts on the Burke thread tomorrow when I have more time...

>>The world is in deflation, but the dollar is about to be shredded. I warned you guys to get out last week.... now it is too late.<<

Sooner or later the weak get slaughtered and the strong survive then the prices start to rise again.
There are always fall outs and stock price weaknesses in any security and Dell is no exception. Everybody is entitled to their opinions. Dell will survive the storms and still be standing long after the all the periodic lies, deceptions and false reports of competitors and analyst are turned into shredded paper.

Frank
