Alex, I thought it was going to be ATVI...Returns!....oh well...so much for being popular! Anyhow, we'll see if Linux can outdo Windows NT...that'll be something. Jini and Java by Sun and then Linux....what next? The guy on Yahoo was right....From badkarma.net Feb 15th... Pentium II Gear Pay close attention to your TV's. Moew specifically the Pentuim II ads now running in the US. Again Mecha proves its visual popularity as the P3 shows a Gear (Heavy Gear) vaunting thorugh in full glory. Romulus Stahl Also on the site: Dave Georgeson (Activsion: HG2) Howdy folks, Thought you might be interested in how Heavy Gear 2 is doing. Here's some new info for you: 1) The game is improving rapidly now. Art, sound, gameplay and everything is going through much fine tuning and the game is shaping up dramatically. 2) We just sent out our third beta build to the external beta testers today (build #109). They saw much improvement between the first build and the second, and we hope that they are impressed just as well with the third build. We'll see... 3) We're definitely going to be polishing the game at least through the end of the month, so don't look for the game on the shelves this month. We'll see about next month and give you more info soon so you know what to expect. We're trying real hard to make sure you get a polished game. 4) This is now a very different game than the demo we released. Gameplay is similar, but the amount of things you can do now is vastly increased and there's a ton of variety. Heck...I can't get into too many details right now without spoiling some surprises we'll spring on you later, so I'll just shut my yap. Just wanted to let you know that the team is jazzed about what we're creating and we can't wait to get it out to you. If you have any questions, just holler here on the forum and I'll try to answer when I have gaps in my schedule. -- Dave. I can't wait until HG2 comes out....I just hope that I will have time to play it. Tom
