Michelle, if the concept of "one-click" fascinates you and leads you to believe that the guys at Amazon must be programming geniuses, then there really is nothing more I can say to you. Have you ever heard of a cookie? Do you even know what a database is? Let me give you a hint- they store a cookie on your machine which points them to your previous database entry of personal information. How do you find this amazing? It's been done since the first websites appeared in 94.

Oh, and the last sentence in your tirade was completely false, every major online bookseller and hell, every retailler on the web for that matter has a "one click" purchase method of sorts. Barnes and Noble even uses the same color scheme as Amazon's "one click" button, for chrissakes.

Let me guess- you've never really gone to any other online bookseller or etailer and you're just making this up- otherwise you would have certainly noticed this, eh?

(hint for morris, this is the type of investor i'm talking about!)

They have added some new tech thing called 1-click selections or something so the
next time I wont have to enter so much info (this is customer tracking I know but Im
ok with it), it is obvious they have top technical talent working at amzn, the
experience is totally different to me than online shopping anywhere else including all
the other booksellers.

Did you know that Barnesandnaoble have 1-click checkout? So does AOL for hundreds of stores.

What are you going to do whan AMZN is gone?

Glenn
