The Advance-Decline Line (which is very important, regardless of what some folks may say) has been in a general decline since late 1997. Check Decisionpoint.com if you don't believe me. Going forward, ask yourself where the growth in the world's economy is going to come from? Where? Tell me if you figure it out, I'd love to know. I think LT may have underestimated the amount of momentum this dying bull had, but I firmly maintain that it is indeed a dying bull. If our long term interest rates start to creep up, as they look like they will, this bull will die quickly, and we will fall from these levels like a rock. There is only the psychological pull of the bull toward 10,000 that is keeping it kicking. But if the economic factors make 10,000 impossible this year, the bull will crumble and stocks will tumble.

This week is crucial that's for certain. It's not so much if the market is up or down this week, but how it responds to extreme adversity-- because it will get extreme IMO.

Best Regards,
