I agree that drop in interest rates was not enough to account for the PE expansion that DELL is witnessing. My feeling, however, is that the expansion was inevitable. What other choices do people have when they want to invest in a large cap growth company with a proven track record and ample future opportunities? There are only a handful of names most of which are on a relative basis valued more dearly than DELL. Consider CSCO, for example, which has a CNPEG2 > 1. In this country of the blind DELL at least has one eye.

Does this lead to nifty fifty style of investing? Probably. Which I admit is scary.
