I knew I was going to need NT (as I think Windows95/98/NT are the only OS's that support RTIII) but was unsure about whether RTIII is multi-threaded. I'm hoping the answer is that Level II, Charts, and T/S all have their own threads or something like that. Probably will ask tech-help at my broker on Tuesday. I may go ahead with it anyways as I won't be able to stop thinking about it if I don't <g>, and it seems like a great value.

The required modification became much easier with the advent of the socket 370 Celeron: After-market folks produced a slot 1 adapter board which is much easier to modify for dual celeron hookup than modifying the actual cpu. Plus, if you mess up the adapter board you are only out $8. One shop, for a few bucks, will even do the modification for you.
