- At work, I'm forced to use Netscape. And it really stinks compared to MS's IE.

- WordPerfect can't even be compared to MS Word.

- In a nutshell, MS is winning out b/c their products are better.

- However, if Reno & the rest of Clinton's Goon Squad want to break up MSFT, just start with a spin-off of internet business first - please - as this may actually be a boost to shareholder value.

Lots of times, these decisions are made on the fly by the individual programmers with no review whatsoever.

. . . Which points up the absurdity of having the government try to supervise the software design process.

I sure as heck would not want to be the one to have to do it, and I doubt many judges want to do it, either.
