Nobody knows ... that's the fun and exciting part. I'm just betting that open architecture wins. People are inventing new uses for JAVA and Jini every day. Who knows? Microsoft may actually ship a reliable operating system next year and lock people into a "Windows-centric" world. The odds are very much against that happening. I just think trying to make one operating system do everything is the wrong approach. There's already an operating system running on smart cards to supercomputers ... LINUX. And it's free. Don't get me wrong ... MSFT has plenty of other ways to make money. My money is on honesty, integrity, innovation, Bill Joy and SUNW. pathfinder.com Best of luck.

curtis, i added to sunw last week. sunw valuations like all other stocks are the highest ever. SunW presented the biggest value. Looking at forward earning and consistancy in earning, in a longer run Sunw share holders HAVE ALREDY BEEN rewarded.. Looking at 2yr (longer term chart) sunw stock has outerperformed msft (by a small amount) and intel by far. As long as there are people (mostly people who can't think for themsellves and belive cnbc, analysts and other such manipulative medias) who belive sunw will set .... sunw will continue to rise while most of the stocks have ALL the good news priced into the stock, sunw's good news are not ever known or understood by most.
