The shareholders of Power won big. The company was in existance for around 2 years and required not much in the way of financing. If you were a Power shareholder and you chose to hold on to Apple (many didnt) you would be looking at minimum 30x return. Apple embraced some of the power direct model and improved their own efficiencies which in turn added to the 4-fold increase in Apple stock in the last 9 mos or so. Define the loser in the Apple-Power situation. Oh, there isnt one. Better pick another analogy to describe the impending collapse of Amazon.
