UBID, I understand, had about 9 million shares outstanding, but on hitting the Nasdaq they reduced them drastically. What would it mean if BID.COM wanted to slash their number of shares in half prior to hitting the Nasdaq, how could they go about doing that if need be.?? UBID had a low share value on hitting the Nasdaq and hit a high I think of US$189.00/share.!!! Bid.Com's CEO mentioned UBID sells mostly computer goods and that means low profit margin. Bid.Com is reducing computer sales and hoping to make higher profits on their wide variety of products, ie jewelry, perfume, sports goods etc.etc., plus 4 or 5 other major areas of Internet E-Commerce business. Do you think it's possible Bid.Com operating in Canada, USA and Europe will make higher profits than UBID in another year or two, if things go right.?? A big question.!!!!!
