Hi Valueman and others:

The telltale clue to the trash nature of the
Yahoo post was the need to throw in MSFT in the
picture. Whenever a company hits rough times,
it is always going to be bought by MSFT/CSCO/INTC/LU
(take your pick).

Thinking along the lines of the guppy swallowing the whale
picture of MR. A., up to now we have speculated about ALA
taking over LOR. However, suppose that ALA remains mired
in its existing problems and decides to retreat to its
core telco equipment business, couldn't LOR take over
all its satellite assets? I would much prefer if LOR
adopted a WCOM like strategy of growth by acquisition,
instead of sitting around as a plump target for
overrated and overpriced predators like T.

Best regards,

Bernard Levy

The trash is certainly out there. No apologies necessary.
