Tremendous learning curve involved with direct execution benefits and daytrading.

Right now, my biggest payoffs have been through position trades. And not trying to beat a dead horse, but most of my position trades are made through Datek. After experimenting with MBT for several months, I am convinced the fills are quicker(if set up properly), better price opportunity on market and limit orders, tremendous liquidity via Datek. Again, fills are generally made on the best bid/ask, regardless of mm. Just more choices overall. And it's rare that a price moves away from me where I'm left with a partial fill, although the frequency happens to be greater of recent, but still minimal...And accounting for trades...spectacular...instantaneous updates.

problem is, no pre/post market trades, server challenges especially during peak trading times, amongst other concerns that are five-fold to that of what we've experienced with MBT.

Primary benefits for MBT happens to be pre/post market trades, use of RT3 software, accessability via phone, and customer service.

Apparently, I have yet to learn the finer art of working with the "older" technology to my advantage since most of my trades have not been met with success with arca, snet...never tried soes. And looking forward to reading this thread for more tips on improving my skills in this respect as well as other benefits of MBT program.
