For him to make money, nothing wrong with that.

$100 is less than 1/8 of a point on a thousand share trade. Ask yourself, could I make 1/8 of a point on his patterns? the book is directed to trades of 1 to 4 days in usually 1000 share lots on stocks over $50. If that is your style take a look.

Mike,

Yes both books are really good. The key to using another's technique is to build upon it. For example, my brother trades for a large firm and is using some of Coopers systems along with his own criteria.

In any case, Cooper's systems are great for stand alone methods if you are not into adding additional indicators to what already works.

FYI to all:

Jeff Cooper is having a live forum on how to trade momentum stocks on February 23 at 7:30 PM EST.

Being this is the Cooper thread I thought it appropriate to inform the Cooper masses.
