Here are some more reports about DELL insider sale. Quote:

<<Another concern: Massive amounts of insider selling. This last Thursday alone, 1.43 million shares were registered for sale. This continues a pattern of insider sales that began last summer. It's hard to be bullish on a company when insiders seem so pessimistic. >>

According to some rather hasty calculations, Monsieur Dell sold 15% of his holdings last year.

Thomas, according to Thomson Research (available through Discover Brokerage), MD held 192.6M shares on 9/24/98.

According to Yahoo Insider, best I can tell, he actually sold about 13M shares. No matter what I add up there, I can't get to 28M (15%) shares sold.

I think instead of owning 15% of the company, he now owns about 13%.
