I think she's a true American hero. I'd be her friend if she needed one. JLA

Johnathan,

Ya know, the funny thing is that the
American people are misinformed about
what happened to Linda Tripp. The fact
of the matter is that Monica Lewinsky
tried to get her to file a false affidavit
in the Paula Jones lawsuit. Among other
things, Lewinsky (and no doubt Clinton)
wanted her to change her story (that she
had previously testified before the Grand
Jury) about what she saw when Whitehouse
volunteer Kathleen Wiley came out of the
Oval Office after the now infamous visit
in which she was going to ask Bill Clinton
for a paying job. Instead of getting a
job, she was fondled, and left with her
hair messed up and lipstick smeared (according
to the Tripp GJ testimony). Later, Ms. Wiley
went home and found out that her husband
had committed suicide via a handgun. His
last communication with his wife was in the
form of a letter that contained a blank
sheet of paper, and a single lottery ticket.

The fact of the matter is that Linda Tripp
notified the Office of Independent Council
that Bill Clinton and his girlfriend were
about to commit several felony crimes inclu-
ding witness tampering, subornation of
perjury, filing of false affidavits in a
civil lawsuit, and obstruction of justice.
The law actually requires that a person
is responsible for reporting acts and can
be held accountable if they do not. If you
do not believe me, just ask a guy named
Micheal Fortier. He is now doing 10 years
in prison because a friend of his told him
that he was going to commit a felony crime
and Micheal did not go to the police.
