May be a pattern, land rigs continue to drop, but offshore may be stabilizing. May be because of better economics off shore. The BHI numbers are for total of all rigs.

The Offshore Data Services, Inc (ODS) article indicated "mobile" rigs under contract as 127 up 5 from last weeks 122 and up 8 from 119 a month ago. Further down it shows only 44 of 81 "platform" rigs in the GOM are under contract.

I posted the article to point out there appears to be at least one area of activity (which I consider a leading indicator) that is pointing UP not down.
