I bet when he deleted his backup files he deleted
some important dill programs. I don't think his problem
is just in his recycle bin.
Stephan. Reboot your computer and press f8 as soon as the
black screen comes up. Tell us if you see something that says
dill. files corrupted or something like that. When you press
f8 it will let you make the start-up slow.
I hope that it is the f8 button someone tell me if it isn't.

Hi Mark,

You're right. Clearing cache/Temp. Internet Files, Defragmenting and scanning your hard drive are all good habits that should be done by all users on a regular basis. They may clear up small problems, and certainly prevents future problems.

It doesn't take long to do, and can often be scheduled to run when no one is using the system. If it can be arranged, I highly recommend it.
