That's good input to balance against the local press reports. I can't find anything written by TCI about the process, which dovetails with press reports which quote the "very likely perfectly well-intentioned civil servants" as saying TCI is non-responsive. I remember the word "arrogant" being used.

I haven't seen anybody whining about ATHM service up here. That will come later.

We only see people whining about climbing over TCI to get @@Home. Once they get it, of course, they'll whine about having it.

Such is the nature of public dialogue (cf, Demosthenes; ccf Hyperides). ;-)

BTW, that was a pretty artful extract and the report makes good reading (anyway).

I too am at a loss to know what will happen, what ought to happen, what may happen, or any of that. It is clear to me however that TCI is under-performing relative to reasonable expectations. It will be interesting to see what Armstrong means by "hands-on".

Meanwhile I'm very happy with my DSL and my ATHM position.

Yow! Am I TOLERATING AMBIGUITY yet?
