Clearing up DLL's

DLL's (Dynamic Link Libraries), are files that are extensions for applications on your system. For example: The Microsoft Word application has the file winword.exe to make it run. However, it also has about 50-100 .dll files that it needs to run properly.

If an actual .dll file is missing or corrupt on your system, the majority of the time, the only recourse is to re-install the program itself. (Unless you have a near identical system where you can get a 'clean' copy of the offending .dll and copy it over)

Sounds a little complex I know...Sorry!
