Hi ecommerceman,

WAVX has a high/low range of 3/4 to about 14 and is now at 10 3/16 which may be considered at least, satisfactory stock performance.

One possible reason why there hasn't been even higher stock prices is the OTC:BB market where the trading takes place. As you know many if not all institutional and large stock investors are not permitted to trade in this market trade in issues below 5 dollars per share. They will be allowed to trade of course if and when the stock trades on NASDAQ and we have applied for listing and the stock is now over $5-.

The WAVX PR effort may have been purposely delayed until the shares trade on NASDAQ and starting 2/15/99 Hewlett Packard will initiate their 150 million dollar advertising/promotion campaign where WAVX may be mentioned in connection with our joint effort to promote EMBASSY with all its benefits to the users.

There are probably some other non-fundamental reasons which explains why the stock has not yet reflected its merits.

Best wishes,

Sal Monaco

ecommerceman, the stock should take off in several stages over the next year.

The first stage should follow NASDAQ listing where sources have indicated strong interest in positions by the likes of Fidelity, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and others.

Then the stock should move to higher levels once the prototype Embassy chips with the latest enhancements have been fully tested and volume production is ready. This is when the company will begin to receive firm orders for widespread installation on the many platforms for which Embassy is being developed.

In regard to the progress of Embassy chip development, I have heard that the company is still on schedule for this year's planned implementation of 3 to 5 million as mentioned at last November's annual meeting. I also believe the company has made some significant strides recently for integrating Embassy in PC peripheral devices. These devices would be developed for connection to USB ports and would be in addition to the upcoming Wave enabled Haup cards.

It's possible that Embassy could reach the market on these peripheral devices sooner than for the PC or STB platforms projected later this year. These devices would likely be supplied with CD ROM and DVD bundles geared for those who own high-end PCs (with USB ports) for games and other entertainment content. I have no idea of the numbers of chips that could enter the market this year based on this particular platform but the volume would likely be in addition to the original 3 to 5 million chips projected for this year's deployment.

I agree substantially with that sentiment...

BUT, having used my Wave account recently for the first time to participate in the informal poll, I must say that I was underwhelmed by the appearance of the GSN payment processing pages on several counts.

- The colours chosen really obscures the lettering on the pages to the extent that I had to really try and figure what details they require of me.
- I had to go back a second time to fill in my VISA number just because I put spaces between every 4th digit of the number - just as it appears on my card. I remember it caused me a moment of irritation because it wasted time.
- notifying emails back - very courteous etc - but a lot more can be made of it. It surely will impress me immensely if it was sent back containing a little applet that can open up to look for installed financial software from any of the bigger vendors on my hard disk, on first use establish which file is my default financial database, and append the transaction to that database in the desired format (probably using standard SQL instructions). That would satisfy my (and I expect most of mankind's) slothful nature no end and make it my default payment system just to avoid having to manually input the transaction.

It sounds lit nitpicking, but I think attention to detail and slickness of presentation is so important, and explains why customers abandon their shopping carts. I did not leave with the feeling that Wave had put in an awful amount of creative energy into that design to ensure the slick appearance of the software frontend yet.

I realise that it really is mostly an experimental system, but with the spotlight hopefully soon shining a lot brighter, they do need to look sharp on every front.

Go Wave!

Kind regards

Paul

Hello e-commerceman,

Ezcuse my absence. I've been in the Hospital and bedridden for about a week. I had a little accident; just about snapped my right leg off. It's growing back.

I hear ya! You'd think WAVX would get more press. Apparently, the idea of putting a smart-card-like microprocessor like ours on personal client devices is still incomprehensible to the computer industry and Wall Street. Time will soon tell.

Sigh,
Marty
