Eileen Merrigan says to say "Hi" to you and Kim.

After the epiphany-like experience that happened to me yesterday, you've just got to believe in "Six Degrees of Separation", i.e. that each of us is separated from anyone else in the world by no more than six individuals.

We went to lunch yesterday in NYC for Valentine's Day at a restaurant called ORZO on 46th Street. Saw Dennis Franz (Detective Andy Sipowicz on NYPD Blue) at the table next to me and told him he I enjoyed his show. But it was the conversation at the table on the other side that intrigued me.

Overheard a lady saying something about numbers: "$101..97...95...93" and I said, "Excuse me please, but how do you feel about DELL?" So we chatted across tables. I asked her, "By the way, do you know William Michaels?" Well, she just about fell out of her chair, said your wife is her best friend, that they just returned from visiting you, had alot of great things to say about you too."

And all of this because of DELL. Who would have thought? By the way, do you know any of the Cushman family in La Jolla?

Best regards,

Mark A. Peterson
