>>Just my 2 cents. I bought a Dimension D300 about one year ago. I will NEVER NEVER
EVER buy Dell again, they are CRAP. Dell has not been able in one year to correct all the
problems I have had with this piece of trash from day one. Their service is chit, they have a
bunch of geeks to help you. For all the pain that this computer has caused me I hope this
stock TANKS right into the depths of the deepest sea. I will be buying a Mac soon - I should
have never left them. I have no position in this dog stock long or short!

That is a very inreresting tale. We (the company) have been a Dell user, PCs & servers for over 5 years. In that time we have had very few reasons to request assistance. When we did the service was excellent. This cannot be said for other server manufacturers that we had the misfortune to purchase from. Each of us knows when we present (in person or by phone or mail) dissatisfaction, anger, or whatever. Only you can evaluate what you said, did, did not do and how all of this was presented. We have never before heard of a situation where Dell would not exchange a unit. That is why they have the sales on the remanufactured units. We suggest you begin anew with the warrenty folks. Our reading of all computer saisfaction survey information (Dell does a very good job in production and service) leads to a speculation that something is missing from this story.
