Dorine: Legend is the #1 producer (state-owned)of PC's in China. Great article in dead tree Feb 15 issue of Business Week. On page 78 the writer indicated that Dell's direct model may be the key for "beleaguered foreign PC makers". Michael's once again strategically ahead of IBM, CPQ, HP, et. al. in this fast-growing mkt. JF3

Dorine - LEGEND is a Chinese PC manufacturer that has been growing fairly spectacularly - as you can see - in the Chinese market. A couple of years back, everyone thought that firms such as IBM and CPQ would sew up the Chinese market tight. Well, it seems that they were wrong....<G> Hope that helps some.... Have a great day...
