Rocky,

WHY is this important for you to debate?

Ricky -

I'm sorry. I don't see the point you're trying to make.

Because a 4MB flash card is only $15, a maker of a digital camera which uses a 2.3 megapixel CCD is not going to include a Clik! drive?

So the user will be able to take about two or three pictures (with compression) before changing media or downloading to a PC. Alternatively, he or she could buy new 4MB or larger flash cards, spending more than 3 dollars per megabyte for storage. That equates to about 3 bucks per picture, minimum.

Seems to me that any person willing to spend 800 bucks for a digital camera won't have too much problem forking over another couple hundred for a device that then gives him or her the ability to add 40MB of storage at a time for only an additional 10 dollars. Thus, the external Clik! would be a welcome accessory.

Or, given the fact that Iomega says that an OEM version of Clik! will cost manufacturers less than 100 dollars, the user might choose to spend maybe a hundred fifty bucks more for the camera with Clik! built in.

No need to point out that no camera manufacturer has yet announced a camera with Clik! built in. I know that. However, your belief that it will never happen doesn't constitute a fact. It's only the opinion of someone who is, to put it politely, extremely biased against Iomega.

I do understand that it is possible that camera makers may never include Clik! drives. It is also possible that they will.
