Hi John, yyyyeess the good news is starting to build up about SRCM, about alliances and what it's doing! I'm holding mine, greatly enjoying the drama as it's starting to build up. I added DLJ to my techfolio today; they're thinking of selling off part of the Internet Unit to investors. Whether that means an IPO or a spinoff who knows, sure hope it's the spinoff (I just love those free shares of new companies) and with DLJ I don't think it would compliment them to be stingy or play around with the shareholders. The price today is 25% off the year high, and with all the splits, IPO's, and mergers guessing the annual report will be spectacular and maybe it'll split again this year. I traded some FTU (First Union, Bank that is/will be a Brokerage & Insurance seller as well after the new fed rules are passed, taking my split early on that one too) to expand financials to include DLJ; it seems like a good time of year to do this - remember last year early spring with financials?! - and last year was nuttin' compared to this. Just looky at the size of that splits shopping list!! Monday, Monday...do I have to tell you WHO BOTH splits Monday after the close? I'll be wearing a party hat and blowing on a noisemaker!! (The oinker fund managers might want to devalue 'em a bit more but that nonsense is just seen as a Blue Light Special here on Techride) So as Wimpy said "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a GNET split today"...so I got a few more of each and got powder for just in case they go down some. If they bottlerocket and keep going I'll just wait til the next split to quack 'em again!! Blue do you think GNET will still be quacking up and down or might it be like AOL '98 from now on, going straight back up after a split? GNET beat AOL today, went up almost double more actually. Well, GNET was cheaper today compared to its high than AOL was. The action I'm sure waiting to see on Tuesday is Netscape! Remember AOL promised 4.5 shares at merger time this spring (almost here) (this will be a real teller on whether it looks like it will actually happen) to holders of Netscape. Netscape should then be under $40 a share Tuesday if it's still running neck and neck; I got me some powder to buy it back if so. Netscape has been going great guns loading up on Business capabilities expansion; My Software (MYSW which has tripled in a couple/few months) in today's announcement is that MYSW will be available on Netscape and having something to do with Intuit. Netscape has been doing much with itself since the aol merger announce. And now some more complaints in that ongoing fed battle about Bill's (the Bill who still has to go to court) Browser leaving no alternative so who knows what will happen before The Fat Lady Sings...so NSCP's a real fun play in view of so many circumstances, don't you think? 909, Joanie
