FWIW, you could contribute the box to a chairity and take a deduction of approx $3,800 for a non-cash charitable contribution.

Just trying to help. Boxes that don't work, just like cars, can frustrate the bejesus out of anyone. No need to flame me.

Best regards,

Mark A. Peterson

Probart, So you cleaned up your hard disk, but did you put back all the junk you had before, tons of extensions, plug-ins, etc. that every vendor forces into new computers, willy nilly? What functions do you need? Figure that out, and only put those programs in, and get rid of all the crap. Remember, Dell is only a packager of stuff made by other people. All new computers are but a package of stuff mixed together by some vendor whether it is a big name like Hewlett Packard or some small screwdriver shop that did the mixing. You probably have one thing messing everything up, you must systematically test and find what is causing the problem. My guess is that it is a software conflict that will remain until you find the source.
