Great article on DELL's recognition. Mohan. Yet, I think there is a mistake in the way Fortune does some of their ratings.

Take a look at this quote from Fortune:

<< Dell ranked No. 3 behind IBM and H-P in the computer and office-equipment category. >>

Give me a break........who has won the industry awards for quality, service and satisfaction??...who is THE PIONEER in the industry??...I would contend that DELL is cutting edge and HP and IBM are still trying to re-invent themselves<ggg>!!!

DELL will continue to be the next DELL....!!

Hi Mohan-san:

Don't you think that maybe, just maybe that Dan Niles knew that Dell will beat estimates on Tuesday, and that Dell would be a runaway train next week. IF his clients are short on Dell due to the recent runup to 110, what better way to cover that to issue a negative report just one trading day before the earnings report? The suspicion grows from his early February bullish comment on Dell and less than two weeks he changes direction.

I just talked to a person who used to worked at RS. He said that Dan Niles is a very very smart individual. We shall see Tuesday after the bell whether he is right on the money or was there another reason why opened his mouth on Friday.
