Popiye .. I don't really think there is an industry standard when it comes to e-mail encryption because hardly anyone - certainly on the consumer side - is encrypting e-mail and e-mail attachments. I think the reason for that is because it hasn't been introduced in an easy to use fashion. The encryption program works with all of the popular e-mail programs - MS Outlook, Eudora, etc. - users don't have to radically change anything that they are currently doing.
