Mohan-san: I am not defending Dan Niles. He works for his clients and firm and his duty is to make money for them. If he does that, then he is considered a good employee who should be compensated accordingly. His comment is of course a suspect in its timing, but then CNBC repeatedly like a broken record that pounded the stock. Dan probably would not expect that the drop is so drastic in one day!

I might even have to thank Dan Niles since I bought a lot last Friday and just missed my final batch of limit order 89 13/16 by the skin of my teeth. Remember Wednesday, someone bought Dell at 93+, then Dell ran away on Thursday to over 100? I said to myself: darn, I miss the train. Friday the train backtrack to the station. Jump in guys said Dan Niles. I did, and might buy more tomorrow. Guess that Frankfurt market showed that Dell might gap up tomorrow.
