Current Estimates (as per Zacks) for TXN:

FY98 (Actual): $1.79/sh

FY99 (Est.): $2.91 (62.6% Increase)

FY00 (Est.): $3.79 (30.2% Increase)

IMO, this year will be great, but it will be tough for TXN to make $2.91. Zacks provides data from 24 analysts projecting from $2.54 to $3.10 for this year. I think the middle part of the range is more of a lucid projection. The growth for DSP's are there, but these projections don't mirror that ($3 versus $1.79 last year?).

Due to the above, I think TXN will be taking a breather for the time being.

Any thoughts?
Pat

Thanks for the estimate. I always put a lot of stock(no pun intended) in what you say.I wonder what would happen if the growth was 35%.
