Institutional Interest Growing
31 Institutions hold 8.21% of the outstanding shares as of December 31,1998. Of these, 4 established new positions while 1 liquidated their holdings. Overall, Institutions increased their holdings by 9.91% for the period from September to December. That makes continued increases in institutional interest over the past 6 months following the previous decrease when the small cap index funds pulled out following the de-listing of VLNC. It never ceases to amaze me how slowly and surreptitiously institutions can buy into a stock while everybody else remains on the sidelines. Definitely another good sign.

Good luck to all the longs.

HC, FMK - Re.:"...Points to ponder..."

Another "nutcase" a la "absurd" point to ponder -

12 month or 3 month charts are ok. Take a look at the 5 year chart. Go back to May, 1992, if you like. Zoom out! Put yourself a few steps away from current day-to-day events - away from fears or worries of "gradual accumulators".

It shows a different perspective - about investor sentiments (positive and negative) over that period. How many times it tried break through 9 (or 10) and sustain? The last time it tried to break through, it hit 11. Now is the time for "greed"? Waiting for a noticeable momentum to materialize. Ram

HC>Re: 'Has Lev ever mentioned the words "stock price" in any of his CC's since his return?' I do recall at the very end of his CC in November he made a statement to the effect that that he and the board of directors would be focusing on the maximizing of shareholder value. He ended the call with the comment that he hoped that we could all get together in a another call in the near future that would have better news to share: I think we just had that call last week. duckster
