I see a quite a few traders on mIRC using a combo setup like you are describing. They seem to get a lot of trading done. There are definitely cheaper quote services than RT. As I noted in an earlier post, I am just hooked on the RT package because of the way I can transition from data to order setup so quickly and smoothly.
