does it matter what kind of camcorder you have?

Nope, just need a standard video source.
You can connect it to the TV outputs of virtually and Camcorder, VCR and even PC (ATI) graphics card (with TV output).

A GAMES CHANNEL SIGNED BY NTL

NTL has reached agreement with Infogrames to carry over 1000 on-line games titles when it launches digital interactive cable TV later this year. The catalogue includes leading multi-player action games. Players in the same house, around the corner or even hundreds of miles away will be able to challenge each other to real-time game play. Games will accessed through NTL's interactive 'Games Channel' which will also support chat forums, bulletin boards and 'special events'.

Carol,

Anything with an RCA video jack...or even better quality if you have an S-Video out. If not, I'm sure you could goto Radio Shack-Hack and get converter cord or something.

The Dazzle DVC works great...I've had one for a while.
My favorite thing is ~25 second video emails that only take up 1mb.
My relatives just love raw footage I send.....

John-etal.....hot stuff...

"But, he added, the big new opportunity with two-way cable and digital set-tops that MediaOne will be looking at this year is VOD.

"VOD is going to cross over to becoming an economically viable service," Wonsiewicz said. At $1 per home passed, the cost of storing movies has come down by a factor of 10 over the past decade, he added.

The cable executives were also largely united in their commitments to moving forward with telephony using the switched-circuit platform for early launches, then moving to the IP platform by the middle of 2000. The exception was Roberts, who said his company was still weighing the timing of entry into voice services and which platform to use."
