Fred, that should not have happened. When I change itineraies the agent helps me immediately. I usually say can I improve the fare by being flexible on departure times & the agent comes right back with a new fare. Bummer bud.

BTW I tried IRIS this morn & asked about STL to RDU. She said cheapest fare is Delta but you have to book through them & not us. They were cheaper by $100. So in my mind, IRIS still gave me the cheapest ticket, they just did not sell it to me.

FWIW, I have used IRIS several times and they have always told me who the carrier was when I asked. It is true they do not publish it when they give you the itinerary.
