>>So how about the Feb 95's? or March 105s? Why not Feb 110s! I feel lucky today.

I share your excitement, Arv. Picked up a handful of March 110 contracts on Friday at $3 (bargain) to go with my Feb 85s, Feb 90s and March 120s. Also, suggest you look at hpwno (HP Feb 75 puts) which are a great double down at 2 3/8.

Let the games begin!

One other thing that may be going on here. If you want to be known you have to do something shocking.

In early Feb. you announce Dell will make up to 5.5b and all is well. Yawn. Nobody wants to hear it. You did not get any headlines. So what can you do? Well, there are many ways to tell the truth.

Up to 5.5b can be anywhere from 5.2b to 5.5b. All of these numbers are in the 40-46% y/y growth range. All down from the 50% range reported last year. If you think about it, almost anywhere Dell lands can be viewed as a loss of growth. So you announce that Dell is losing growth and should be downgraded. Now you got your name in the headlines.

Now even if Dell makes its numbers (5.3b-5.5b) you can say "See - I told you so. Loss of growth." You can then spend hours discussing CPQ growth, IBM, etc etc - there are so many numbers out there you can yak forever and make a hero or goat out of almost anybody.
