Ice, you were right..you just thought you were wrong.

The inverse of AR's Euro quote equals the current $/E
rate of 1.124. German equities are now quoted in Euros.
Both MU and DELL trade in Germany.

ECU's are different from Euros since the ECU weights
are different especially since the ECU includes British pounds
but the EURO does not. ECUs were established in '79(?) as
a central bank exchange mechanism for the EMS. There is some
private market trading of ECU denominated debt so the exchange
rate will be around for a while.

Forget about ECU's. Euros rule and ECUs drool.<g> Even the
British will join the Euro eventually.
