depends on your definition of market. many, many, many stocks aren't levitating like the 90's version of the nifty 50. go back a few months and that many, many, many was most, most, most.

i also tend to differentiate between stock prices and businesses. a stock price can triple, but, all else being equal, the touts say a business is worth more b/c - they will grow eps next q when it is obvious to me they won't? especially when i've been right and the analysts have been wrong for, oh, 8 qs running? i speak not of dell, but i do speak of mu.

dan niles is out to lunch. he is intellectually comparable to a monkey with a buy button on mu. like i say, i agree with him on dell - though i suspect it isn't obvious for another q or two. i just don't like being on the guy's side. makes me nervous.
