Just curious, but have you checked out AMEN and TMSR? Both are loser companies who's nearly worthless stock spiked dramatically after announcing some Internet-related items. I personally believe both are significantly overvalued at present and have big short positions in both.

Did I check them out? Well, I had given them both about 60 seconds. I guess that doesn't count as real research--but my point is that, while I may or may not have the best Internet companies, they're good enough.

I rejected AMEN because I thought the idea of targeting Christians was a potentially good idea. I discarded TMSR because I didn't like the P/S ratio.

Please note that these were not real analyses. They were simply necessities in winnowing a list of 200 companies.

I never shorted PTUS or VIAS either. But ZITL, IAIC, SEEC, ACLY, and TAVA were good enough for a million dollars. That doesn't mean that the many people who chose PTUS or VIAS weren't smarter than me, since those companies may have gone down more.
