Thanks, Rob. Yes, when I put in the 3rd card, one yellow exclamation mark appears. When I say knocks out the 2nd, I mean that prior to inserting the 3rd card, I had the LH & center monitors working; I shut down, inserted the card, then RH monitor came on instead of the LH, with the center one still ok (that's the one on the AGP slot). The RH monitor proceeded to install the software for the 3rd card, the yellow exclamation mark appeared & the LH monitor stayed dark. I shut down & restarted (actually this has been going on for hours as I keep trying any & every possible combination of slots!) but it still wouldn't come up. I'll call both Abit & ATI & see what they have to say. Do you remember who helped you to add the line to your config. sys file? Thanks again. d.alexander
