In today's U.S.A. Today, at the top of the front page of the "Money" section was a little blurb:

Doubletree Hotel at the Orange County, California Airport will test high speed internet access as a part of a video-on-demand service in March.

That was it. No article or further explanation inside anywhere. Anyone know what Doubletree is up to? And who with?

Corky wasn't kidding, this new guy is a great catch. Leaving the position of Executive Vice President of Pioneer New Media Technologies to join Concurrent. Pioneer is involved in both the end to end strategy for digital cable networks and they also have orders from Time Warner and others for STB's modeled after the explorer 2000. I think having someone of this level join the company says more than anyone of us can post about CCUR's position in the industry. If any of you are from marketing or sales backgrounds, I think you understand that you don't leave a large player like Pioneer to join a small company like CCUR unless you are very confident in both their product (technology) and thier strategic direction. This is confirmation beyond any of the technobabble on this thread that we have a great server and we will have a very large seat at the table.

I guess I would leave to join a company that was going to go from 80 million in sales to over 250 million plus in a few short years. I hope he negotiated for some stock options.
