I was talking about that a stock price cannot go up infinitely, just like its growth rate cannot.

YZ, obviously, growth rates must slow. But why can't a stock price continue to go up forever?

It is kind of scarry to see these Dell bulls count on Dell will be next Dell. They must have a poor math training, because if that happened, Dell would have a Trillion dollar market cap. How could that happen when US GDP is around 9 trillion only?

Which is when I brought up the example of MSFT to demonstrate the falacy of concentrating solely on market caps.
