He said it might be a problem with the config. sys. I didn't realize the ATI card(s) was in the mix. However, I had no trouble with one ATI card as the secondary card. That went down fine. It was the 2nd ATI card & the 3rd monitor that blacked out the 2nd monitor. Meanwhile I called Abit. They confirm that the BH6 will NOT support more than 2 monitors & asked me to let them know how to do it, when I find out. Your link looks good. Unfortunately I also can't get my printer hooked up to the new system, so I'm going to have to get the old computer going (I took all its cards) to print out the instructions. Going to take a lunch break first, with a large cookie to cheer me up. d.alexander

IJ, OT; not such difficult instructions-have just been at this so long I'm cross-eyed. First, per Rob's earlier post, I set the Matrox card as my primary monitor (big improvement). THEN I did have a problem with even the 2nd monitor. So it is the ATI card. Then I tried Method 1 & Method 2 from the Microsoft Online Support page. I couldn't try Method 3 because I couldn't find the line to disable. I definitely saved before closing sysedit. Neither method had any effect in bringing a monitor online. I erased Method 1 before going on to Method 2. Also was not sure of the reading of c000 & tried cOOO as well (separately). If someone else has done it, it must be doable. So near & yet so far. I'll call ATI & see if they have anything to contribute. I did have the 2 ATI cards functioning as primary & secondary on my old computer. The new card in the new setup is the Matrox. It appears that it will function as secondary to the ATI as primary, but when you make it primary, the ATI won't come on as even 1 secondary. Meanwhile both TC Computers & Abit are telling me 2 monitors only on that Mobo. So it's not only the problem of ATI in multiple monitors; it's disagreement over what the Mobo supports. Hopefully will get there. If anyone who is running 3 monitors on the BH6 has any other suggestions, it would be appreciated. Thanks to all. d.alexander
