BGR,

You missed my point. IMO, stock prices are driven by human emotion with fundamentals playing a secondary role. How else do you explain Dell trading a P/E of 110 or AOL at a P/E > 300, Amazon at nil, etc.

4Q this and 2Q that are relatively unimportant over the long haul. What's important is if some big institution has a change of heart about its Dell holdings and starts the cascade of selling which then starts feeding upon itself. News has a habit of following the event in this business, not the other way around. The mistake you guys make is that you believe that every bit of good news or announcement means the price has to go up.

BTW, what's wrong with being general and non-original.
